Turbo charger engine makes much higher horse power by using compressed air intake.

High pressure exhaust gas rotates turbine and this makes intake air being compressed in expansion cycle.

If the boost pressure from intake manifold reaches target pressure value, ECU makes a part of exhaust gas bypass to restraint the turbine revolution and provides the most suitable boost pressure by using Electric Waste Gate Actuator EWGA.

EWGA is consists of motor, actuating bypass valve, and position sensor which detects actual state of bypass valve.
