Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor the switch voltage
  1. Poor contact of connector
  2. Ignition short/open in switch wire harness
  3. BSD switch
Prerequisite condition
  • Battery voltage is normal
  • 1.5 sec. after turning the ignition switch on
Threshold Value
  • The voltage of the switch circuit exceeds 9.6V (given that power voltage is 12V)
Diagnosis time
  • after 60 sec.
