Circuit Inspection

  2. Sports mode switch connector: Disconnected
Sports mode switch select signal terminal Chassis ground
Signal circuit (Short): Resistance Infinite (∞)Ω
  1. Ignition: OFF
  2. Sports mode switch connector: Disconnected
Sports mode switch up shift signal terminal Chassis ground
Signal circuit (Short): Resistance Infinite (∞) Ω
  1. Ignition: OFF
  2. Sports mode switch connector: Disconnected
Sports mode switch down shift signal terminal Chassis ground
Signal Circuit (Open): Resistance Approx. below 1Ω
  1. Ignition: OFF
  2. Sports mode switch, PCM/TCM connector: Disconnected

  1. Is the measured resistance within specifications?

    YES 

    • Replace the Sports Mode Switch with an usable one and check for proper operation. If it works properly, put the component in place. Then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".

    NO 

    • Replace the PCM/TCM with an usable one and check for proper operation. If it works properly, put the component in place. Then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
