DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring Voltage Range (Circuit Open/Short Check)
  1. Circuit open or short
  2. Under-Drive Brake Control Solenoid Valve (UD/B_VFS) fault
  3. PCM/TCM
Enable Conditions
  • Completely opened or closed
  • Gear tightening
  • More than 0.3 second of the time elapsed after shifting
  • Solenoid supplied power value between 10V and 16V
Threshold value
  • Feedback current (Circuit short) value at operating is between 50mA and 550mA
  • Feedback current (Circuit open) value at operating is below 50mA
Detecting Time
  • More than 0.3sec.
Fail-safe
  • Locked into 4th gear
