Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Ignition "ON" & engine "OFF".
  3. Select "Current Data" mode and monitor "Oil Temperature Sensor" parameter.

    Specification:  Increasing Gradually

  4. Is the Oil temperature sensor within specification?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact of PCM/TCM and DTC was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO 

    • Go to next procedure.
