  1. Inhibitor switch connector: Disconnected
  2. Ignition: ON

Signal circuit (Open/Short): Voltage See below "Table"

  2. Ignition: ON
  3. Shift lever changed "P, R, N, D".

  1. Is the measured voltage within specifications?

    YES 

    • Check a open or short circuit at the wiring of Inhibitor switch and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
    • If wiring of Inhibitor Switch is normal then, Substitute with a known-good PCM/TCM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace PCM/TCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
