Check The Alignment Of Shift Cable

  1. Move TGS lever to "N" position.
  2. Set Manual Control Lever in "N" position.

  3. How to check whether the "N" position matches or not
    • Insert "N setting Jig (5)" into the "N setting hole"

      There should be no loading such as pulling, slipping or suspension between the shift cable and the Manual Control Lever.

  4. If it is impossible to insert a zig or lever pulling, slipping or suspension occurs, loosen the nut while inserting the zig to solve the impossibility to insert the zig, lever pulling, slipping or suspension and then tighten the nut.
  5. Remove the Jig from "N setting hole"
  6. After finishing the task, shift the gear from "P" to "D" twice.

  7. Is the problem solved?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Go to next procedure.
