Inhibitor Switch

The indoor operation position of shift lever is delivered to the transmission according to the driver's request, and the lever position at the time of P-Range, R-Range, N-Range and D-Range is delivered to PCM/TCM to control the engagement of gear.
- The inhibitor switch is installed on top of the transmission and it is connected to the shift lever.
- The inhibitor switch generates a signal with 4 contact points and outputs S1(P), S2(R), S3(N) and S4(D).
- S1(P), S2(R), S3(N) and S4(D) signals of the inhibitor switch are delivered to PCM/TCM according to the operation of shift lever to control the shift range.
