DTC Setting Condition

Trouble shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor the output signal from the vehicle height sensor.
  1. Out of the sensing range (Excess sensor angle)
  2. Faulty height sensor
  3. Misplacement or damage (possible accident) of the height sensor ring cage
  4. Inspect the AHLS ECU
Prerequisite condition
  • Turn ON the ignition switch, engine and headlamp.
Threshold Value
  • After calibration, the sensing angle exceeds the starting point by ±45° or over.
Diagnosis time
  • over 2 sec.
