ECU (AHLS) Inspection

  1. Plug GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Start the engine and turn on the auto headlight system.
  3. Clear the DTC using the GDS.
  4. Did the same DTC return?

    YES 

    • Replace the cluster with an usable one. If the cluster works properly, replace it.
    • Complete the download process for parameters (vehicle information) at 'Optional Test' after replacing the AHLS ECU.

    NO 

    • Fault can be intermittent. Or, the AHLS ECU's memory was not cleared after repair. Thoroughly check connectors and wire harness for looseness, poor contact, bending, corrosion, deterioration, or damage.
