CAN BUS Line Inspection

  1. Ignition switch: OFF
  2. ESP, Gateway connector: Disconnected
ESP CAN High terminal Gateway CAN High terminal
ESP CAN Low terminal Gateway CAN Low terminal
  1. Is the result within specifications?

    YES 

    • Fault can be intermittent, caused by poor connection in sensor harness. Or, ESP (ESC) memory was not cleared after repair. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
    • Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure

    NO 

    • Repair open in CAN BUS line between ESP (ESC) harness connector and Gateway harness connector and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
