Trouble shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor CAN message
  1. Faulty Gateway
  2. No connection to Gateway
  3. Gateway incorrectly occupy the CAN Bus line
  4. Defective wire
  5. Short circuit between CAN bus lines.
  6. Faulty ESP (ESC)
  7. ECU version does not match car configuration.
Threshold value
  • When the signals from Gateway are not received within 1000 milliseconds.

    * It starts monitoring 1.8 seconds after ignition on.
Diagnosis time
  • 1000 milliseconds
MIL
  • EBD/ABS/ESP (ESC)/DBC operation allowed.
  • ESP (ESC) warning lamp ON
