Trouble shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor CAN message
  1. Faulty MDPS
  2. No connection to MDPS
  3. MDPS incorrectly occupy the CAN Bus line
  4. Defective wire
  5. Short circuit between CAN bus lines.
  6. Faulty ESP (ESC)
Threshold value
  • When a MDPS control message did not received.

    * It starts monitoring 1.8 seconds after ignition on.
