GDS Data Analysis

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Turn the Engine "ON".
  3. Drive the vehicle with left, right turn.
  4. Monitor the "Lateral G Sensor, Yaw Rate Sensor, Longitudinal G Sensor" parameter on the "Current Data" menu of the GDS.

    Specification:  The parameters should be changed while turning.

  5. Is the result within specifications?

    YES 

    • Fault can be intermittent, caused by poor connection in YAW Sensor harness and/or ESP (ESC)'s connector. Or, ESP (ESC) memory was not cleared after repair. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
