DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Trouble shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor CAN message
  1. Faulty 4WD module
  2. No connection to other ECU's
  3. Other ECU's incorrectly occupy the CAN Bus line
  4. Defective wire
  5. Short circuit between CAN bus lines.
  6. Faulty ESP (ESC)
Threshold value
  • In case that 4WD message is not received for more than 500 milliseconds.

    * It starts monitoring 1.8 seconds after ignition on.

Diagnosis time
  • 500 milliseconds
MIL
  • ESP (ESC) operation cancelled/inhibited.

    EBD/ABS/DBC operation allowed.

  • ESP (ESC) warning lamps ON
