Trouble shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor CAN message
  1. Faulty SAS
  2. Open in CAN Communication line
  3. Poor connection
  4. Other ECU's incorrectly occupy the CAN bus
Threshold value
  • When steering angle sensor message has not been delivered for more than 500ms under the normal voltage range.
  • It starts monitoring 1.8 seconds after ignition on.
Diagnosis time
  • 500 milliseconds
MIL
  • ESP (ESC) operation cancelled/inhibited.

    EBD/ABS/DBC operation allowed.

  • ESP (ESC) warning lamps ON
