DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Trouble shooting Condition Possible Cause

  • Monitor Variant coding
  1. Faulty EMS
  2. No connection to other ECU's
  3. Other ECU's incorrectly occupy the CAN Bus line
  4. Defective wire
  5. Short circuit between CAN bus lines.
  6. Faulty ESP (ESC)
  7. Slow recovery from under voltage
Threshold value
  • If one or more conditions below are true, failure detection will be masked.
    • Battery voltage is below 9.4 to 10.0V.
    • Battery voltage is above 16.9 to 18.1V.
    • It starts monitoring 1.8 seconds after ignition.- Ignition switch is OFF.
    • Disable normal message transmission mode by Diagnosis command. - BUS OFF is detected and vehicle speed is less than 10.8km/h (6.71mi/h).
    • BUS OFF failure is set.- EMS frame is received at least once.

  • Immediately

  • ESP (ESC)/DBC operation cancelled/inhibited.

    EBD/ABS operation allowed.

  • ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamps ON
