- Is the result within specifications?
YES
- Fault is intermittent, caused by poor connection in the sensor's and/or ESP (ESC)'s connector. Or, ESP (ESC) memory was not cleared after it was repaired. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR "
NO
- Replace it with a new Brake lamp switch and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, put the new Brake lamp switch in place and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
