Wheel Speed Sensor Circuit Check

Item Normal Value Prerequisite Condition Probe (+) Probe (-)
Signal Circuit: (Open/Short): Voltage High: 1.18 ~1.68 V, Low: 0.59 ~ 0.84 V
  1. Lift the vehicle.
  2. Ignition switch: On
  3. Rotate the wheel slowly with hand.

  1. Is the result within specifications?

    YES 

    • Fault can be intermittent, caused by poor connection in Wheel Speed Sensor harness (RL) or external noise. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO 

    • Check for improper installation of Wheel Speed Sensor. If not good, repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
