Trouble shooting Condition Possible Cause

  • Monitor Wheel Speed Sensor signal
  1. Open or short of Wheel Speed Sensor circuit (RL)
  2. Faulty Wheel Speed Sensor (RL)
Threshold value
  • A failure is detected when the current of Wheel Speed Sensor is out of specific current longer than 140 milliseconds.
Diagnosis time
  • 140 milliseconds
MIL
  • Failure on one Wheel Speed Sensor:

    ABS/ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamps ON.

    BRAKE warning lamp OFF.

  • Failure on more than one Wheel Speed Sensor:

    BRAKE/ABS/ESP (ESC)/DBC warning lamp ON.
