Main Harness Circuit Inspection

Main harness Circuit Inspection (Ω) Below 1Ω
  1. Ignition "OFF"
  2. Disconnect Seat-Belt Buckle Switch connector
  3. Disconnect SRSCM connector.
"Low" terminal of the Buckle Switch Passenger harness connector. "Low" terminal of the SRSCM harness connector.
"High" terminal of the Buckle Switch Passenger harness connector. "High" terminal of the SRSCM harness connector.
  1. Is the measured signal waveform normal?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Substitute the SRSCM main harness and check for proper operation.

      If the problem is corrected, replace SRSCM main harness and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

  1. Ignition "ON"
  2. Disconnect Seat-Belt Buckle Switch connector
  3. Disconnect SRSCM connector.
"Low" terminal of the Buckle Switch Passenger harness connector. Chassis ground
"High" terminal of the Buckle Switch Passenger harness connector.
  1. Is the measured resistance within specifications?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Substitute the SRSCM main harness and check for proper operation.

      If the problem is corrected, replace SRSCM main harness and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
