Actuation Test

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Turn the ignition switch ON and warm up the vehicle up to an operational temperature.
  3. Select "Driver Air Mix Potentiometer" parameter on the "Current Data" of the GDS.
  4. Select "Actuation Test" for "Driver Seat Air Mix Door - 0%/50%/100%".
  5. During an actuation test, check whether the value of the Driver Air Mix Potentiometer changes.

    Specification:  Max. cooling- Approx. below 10%, Intermediate - 50%, Max. heating - Approx. 90%

  6. Does the value change within specifications during actuation?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact of the component's or control module's connector. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, deterioration, or damage.
    • Repair or replace relevant component (s) as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".

    NO 

    • Go to next procedure.
