DTC Setting Condition

Troubleshooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor the voltage
  1. Poor contact of wire harness
  2. ECV connector not connected
  3. Open in control circuit
  4. Open in ground circuit
  5. Faulty ECV
  6. Faulty A/C control unit (module)
Prerequisite Condition
  • Turn the ignition switch ON
Threshold value
  • ECV voltage is greater than 3.5V for more than 0.3 sec. even when the ECV is not running (within 0.5 sec after turning the Ignition ON).
Fail safe
  • Stop the compressor
