DTC Data Analysis

  1. Plug GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Start the engine and turn on the headlights and heating wire.
  3. Monitor the "BATTERY VOLTAGE" parameter in the "Current Data" menu of GDS.
  4. Maintain the engine RPM 2, 500 RPM for over 2 minutes at idle. And check the "Current Data".

    Specification:  Approx. 13 ~ 15V.

  5. Is the result within specifications?

    YES 

    • Fault can be intermittent, caused by poor contact of connector or wire harness. Or, the control module's memory was not cleared after repair. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor contact, bending, corrosion, deterioration, or damage.
    • Repair relevant component(s) as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".

    NO
