C-CAN Communication Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition switch: ON
  2. All control modules' conductor: Connected
ESP CAN High terminal Chassis ground
ESP CAN Low terminal Chassis ground
CAN Communication Circuit (ground short): resistance Infinite
  1. Ignition switch: OFF
  2. All control modules' conductor: Connected
EPS CAN High terminal Chassis ground
EPS CAN Low terminal Chassis ground
  1. Is the result within specifications?

    YES 

    • Inspect for an open in the CAN High and Low lines among C-CAN Modules.
    • Check for connection state of the Cluster, AEB Module and any other modules' connector: terminal slip, pin misplacement, looseness, or poor connection. Repair relevant component(s) as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
