Monitor DTC Status

  1. Plug GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Turn "ON" the Ignition Switch.
  3. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)," and click "DTC Status" to check DTC information.
  4. Read the "DTC State" parameter.
  5. Is the DTC State "Present?"

    "PRESENT" 

    • Replace the EPS ECU with an usable one and check for normal operation. If it works properly, put it in place. Before replacement, refer to (MOTOR DRIVEN POWER STEERING (MDPS) SYSTEM ) "GDS -> Optional Function -> Component Replacement (ECU Replacement)".
