Monitor DTC Status

- Plug GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
- Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)," and click "DTC Status" to check DTC information.
- Read the "DTC State" parameter.
- Is the DTC State "Present?"
"PRESENT"
- Replace the EPS ECU (MOTOR DRIVEN POWER STEERING (MDPS) SYSTEM ) with an usable one and check for normal operation. If it works properly, put it in place. Before replacement, refer to (DIAGNOSIS W/ GDS ) "GDS -> Optional Function -> Component Replacement (ECU Replacement)".
"HISTORY"
- The memory was not cleared after repair. Clear the DTC and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
