Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Disconnect the battery negative (-) cable.
  2. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
  3. Disconnect the battery (-) terminal (A).

    Battery Negative (-) Terminal Tightening Nut: 

    4.0 - 6.0 N.m (0.4 - 0.6 kgf.m, 3.0 - 4.4 lb.ft)

  4. Remove the battery sensor (B) after loosening the mounting bolt (A).
