DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check alternator COM-terminal wiring
  • Poor connector connection
  • Open or short in circuit
Enable Conditions
  • Desired alternator voltage duty cycle is at between 3.12 and 94.5%
  • Engine speed is higher than 240RPM
  • Battery voltage is at between 10.73 and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Open or short circuit
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuously
MIL ON Condition
  • DTC only (Idle stop forbidden)
