DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitor the CAM
  • Poor connector connection
  • Short circuit
  • Faulty intake VFS
  • CVVT assembly (intake)
Enable Conditions
  • Activate the VVT control
  • Activate the catalyst heating
Threshold Value
  • Deviation of target CAM angle and actual CAM angle is higher than 6°
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.05s
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
