DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Trouble shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Measure the sensor temperature
  1. Increase in sensor's internal temperature due to temperature rise inside bumper while vehicle has been running for the long term under high ambient temperature
Prerequisite condition
  • Battery voltage is normal
  • 1.5 sec. after turning the ignition switch on
  • Turn on the BSD or RCTA switch
Threshold Value
  • The internal temperature of the right and left sensors exceeds 114.5°C
Diagnosis time
  • after 10 sec.
DTC clearing condition
  • Stop driving when the internal temperature of the LH and RH sensor is below 105°C

    (Overheating condition: it can occur due to the sensor itself or due to an exhaust pipe)

  • Turn the ignition switch on and off for 30 times
