DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Trouble shooting Condition Possible Cause
Main action
  • Monitor the voltage of the switch LED
  1. Poor contact of connectors
  2. Ground short in wire harness of switch LED
  3. BSD Switch
Prerequisite condition
  • Battery voltage is normal and stays normal over 1 sec.
  • 1.5 sec. after turning the Ignition switch on
  • Turn on the BSD switch (LED is ON)
Threshold Value
  • There is a ground short in the power circuit of the BSD switch LED
Diagnosis time
  • after 1 sec.
