DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring motor rotating time and activation current
  1. No disc or pad
  2. Open or short in rear left actuator circuit
  3. Faulty Brake caliper assembled condition
  4. Faulty rear left actuator
Enable conditions
  • IG ON
  • Battery voltage is between 9V ~ 16V
  • EPB Apply or Release
Threshold value
  • If actuator runs for long time
  • If left motor current is much bigger than right motor current
  • Motor current decrease rapidly or runs for long time
  • Actuator runs for enough time but adequate clamping force was not achieved
Fail-Safe
  • Automatic release function inhibited
Lamp
  • Lamp On
