DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring the Switch signal
  1. EPB switch cirucit open/short circuit
  2. Faulty EPB switch
  3. Driver abnormal switch control (too much activation, pull or push for long time or slowly push/pull switch)
Enable conditions
  • EPB Wake up, battery voltage is in normal range
Threshold value
  • Switch signal is abnormal for more than 2seconds
  • Switch is disconnected for more than 2seconds
  • Switch signal is apply or relase for more than 90 seconds (For apply, vehicle has to be stationary)
Fail Safe
  • EPB function using switch inhibited
Lamp
  • Lamp On
