Ground Circuit Inspection

■ Open or Short Check

IG "OFF" & ENG "OFF".
Disconnect the HECU connector.
Measure resistance between ground terminal of the AHB harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. below 1Ω

Is the measured value within specifications?
YES
- Substitute with a known-good AHB ECU and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace AHB ECU and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
  NOTE:
  * In a case of replacing AHB, operate following functions
  1. "Brake Pedal Travel Sensor Calibration" for brake pedal travel sensor offset correction (refer to C1380 ).
  2. "Pressure Sensor Calibration" for pressure sensor offset correction (refer to C1384 ).
NO
- Repair open or short in ground circuit between battery and AHB harness connector and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
