General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Open or short of power supply circuit
  2. Faulty AHB ECU
Case 1 Enable Conditions
  • If the valve relay is switched ON and voltage of valve relay < 6±0.5V continuously for 100ms, the failure is detected.
Fail Safe
  • EBD warning lamp and buzzer are activated.
  • "Stop! Check Brake!" message is displayed on LCD.
Case 2 Enable Conditions
  • If the valve relay is switched OFF and voltage of valve relay > 6±0.5V continuously for 100msec
Fail Safe
  • EBD warning lamp is activated and buzzer is not activated.
  • "Check Brake!" message is displayed on LCD.
