General Information: General Description

These inputs are used to make decisions regarding HCU component operation.

AHB unit consists of ECU (Electronic Control Unit), HPU (Hydraulic Power Unit), BAU (Brake Actuation Unit).

HPU consists of pump motor, solenoid valves, high pressure accumulator, pressure sensors.

The function of the HPU is to increase, decrease or maintain the hydraulic pressure supplied to a booster and pedal simulator.

AHB ECU monitors various sensor signals and determines specified data related to HPU operating.
