Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. ENG "ON".
  3. Monitor the "PDT Value", "PDF Value" parameter on the GDS between No Braking & Full Braking

    Specification:  PDT stoker is similar to PDF stroke

    The stroke should increase as pressing brake pedal and should decrease as depressing brake pedal.

  4. Do PDT and PDF show normal relationship and normal operation?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection in Brake Pedal Travel sensor and/or AHB's connector or was repaired and AHB memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
