General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Open or short of pressure sensor circuit
  2. Faulty pressure sensor
Enable Conditions
  • In case of Vp > 4.8±0.1V or Vp < 0.2±0.1V for 1s
  • In case of Vsum (Vpos + Vneg) > 5.0±0.5V for 1s

* Vp: Pressure sensor voltage (It can be positive or negative voltage), Vpos: positive voltage, Vneg: negative voltage
Fail Safe
  • HPA pressure sensor
    • EBD warning lamp and buzzer are activated.
    • "Check Brake!" message is displayed on LCD.
  • Master cylinder pressure sensor
    • EBD warning lamp is activated and buzzer is not activated.
    • "Check Brake!" message is displayed on LCD.
