Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal Stuck
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. Faulty Fuel Level Sender
Enable Conditions
  • Cumulated Fuel Consumption is greater than 30% (~ 20 liter of Tank capacity) - > can be cumulated over more than 1 Driving Cycle
  • Time after start is longer than 30 sec
  • Battery voltage between 11 V and 16 V
Threshold value
  • Filtered FL signal change is less than 5% after 30% calculated fuel consumption
Diagnosis Time
  • 20 liters fuel consumption
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
