Fuel Tank Inspection

■ Visual Inspection 

1. Check the hose connecting fuel tank and filler neck for cracks or fuel leakage.
2. And then, check tightening of the clamp band.
3. Check for cracks or fuel leakage on the filler neck. (Fig 1)
4. Check fuel tank for fuel leakage or any marks of impacts from the outside. (Fig 2)
5. Check tightening of the hose band on evaporative gas line and O-ring status in the coupler. (Fig 3)

6. Has a problem been found?

   YES 

   • Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

   NO 

   • Go to "SEAL INSPECTION ON THE FUEL PUMP & VENT VALVE "
