DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility check
  1. Inspect Air cleaner
  2. Intake side leakage
  3. Intake side blocked
  4. Inspect waste gate valve and recirculation valve (RCV) control hose blocked/leak/assemble improperly.
  5. Faulty Boost Pressure Sensor
Enable Conditions
  • RPM is higher than 2000, Fuel level in fuel tank is higher than 6.1%
  • Coolant temp. is higher than 14.4°F
Threshold value
  • When the boost pressure is lower than 30 kpa as compared with desired pressure value
Diagnosis Time
  • 5 Second
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles.
