DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Plausibility check
  1. Inspect air cleaner
  2. Intake side leakage
  3. Intake side blocked
  4. Inspect waste gate valve and recirculation valve
  5. (RCV) control hose blocked/leak/assemble improperly.
  6. Faulty Boost Pressure Sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Difference between throttle pressure (2nd T-MAP) and atmospheric pressure is higher than 30 Kpa.
Threshold Value
  • Difference between boost pressure and desired value is higher than 20 kpa ~ 100 kpa.
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.7 Second
Mil On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
