Component Inspection

■ Injector Inspection
- IG "OFF". Disconnect the Injector connector.
- Measure the resistance of the Injector. (Component side)
Specification:
Temperature (°C/°F) Coil Resistance (Ω) 20/68 Approx. 1.25 - Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Check for poor connection between PCM and component: backed out terminal, improper mating, broken locks or poor terminal to wire connection. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known-good injector and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the injector and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
