Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Oxygen storage capacity (Deterioration of Catalytic efficiency)
  1. Exhaust system
  2. S2
  3. Catalyst converter
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is between 1200 RPM and 3000 RPM.
  • Engine load is between 20% and 75%.
  • Catalyst temp.(model) is between 600°C (1112°F) and 850°C (1562°F)
  • Closed loop control
  • The time after engine starts has passed 260 seconds.
Threshold Value
  • Ratio of Actual OSC to Model OSC is lower than 1.0
Diagnostic Time
  • 1 sec
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
