Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Sensor wrong mounted (check the assembling state)
  1. Poor connection
  2. Abnormal assembling state
  3. CMPS
Enable Conditions
  • No CKP sensor error
  • Gap of CKP sensor wheel detected
Threshold Value
  • When counter of failure is detected toggling of phase signal level more than 4 times at consecutive gaps
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
