DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Case 1 DTC Strategy
  • Signal check
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or short in signal circuit
  3. Knock sensor
Enable Conditions
  • -
Threshold Value
  • When number of knock sensor errors is lower than lower limit or higher than upper limit.
Case 2 DTC Strategy
  • Line check
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is higher than 1000 RPM
Threshold Value
  • Short circuit to GND or battery
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • DTC only
