DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Engine roughness through crankshaft speed fluctuation
  1. Poor connection
  2. Ignition system
  3. Fuel system
  4. Intake/exhaust air system
  5. Ignition timing
  6. Injector
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is higher than 510 RPM and lower than 6500 RPM
  • Engine load is higher than Zero torque line
  • Coolant temperature is higher than -7°C (19.4°F)
  • Time after engine start is higher than 0 sec
  • Fuel Level is greater than 15%
Case 1 Threshold Value
  • Misfire rate is greater than 2.5% pre 1000 revolutions
Mil On Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
Case 2 Threshold Value
  • Rate of misfire per 200 revolutions is greater than 5~33% in driving condition
Mil On Condition
  • Immediately (Blink)
