DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Rationality check
  1. Poor connection
  2. Leakage test of surge tank
  3. Leakage test of intercooler (hose)
  4. Checking BPS
Case 1 Enable Condition
  • -
Threshold Value
  • Boost pressure sensor is greater than 280kPa or boost pressure sensor is less than 50kPa
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
Case 2 Enable Condition
  • Voltage of boost pressure sensor is between 0.1 and 4.95 V
  • RPM is higher than 1000
  • Throttle opening is lower than 6%
Threshold Value
  • Boost pressure is greater than 100 hpa or less than - 100 hpa
Diagnostic Time
  • 5 sec.
Mil On Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
