Fuel pressure sensor Signal Circuit Inspection

■ Short to ground check

IG "OFF". Disconnect fuel pressure sensor connector.
Measure the resistance between signal terminal of fuel pressure sensor harness connector and ground.
Specification: Infinite
Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Go to "Open check" procedure below.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

■ Open check

IG "OFF". Disconnect fuel pressure sensor connector.
Measure the resistance between signal terminal of fuel pressure sensor and FPCM harness connector.
Specification: Below 1 Ω
Is the measured resistance within specification?
YES
- Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- Repair or replace as necessary and then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
